Henry County, Indiana Cemetery Commission

Dear Friends,

Henry County Ordinance 3-(9-01) established the Henry County Cemetery Commission on September 19, 2001.  The Commission is responsible for cemeteries where:

Most cemeteries in Henry County fall within the criteria listed above.  However, the Commission is not funded through taxes or levies.  Each year we work on cemetery restoration.  These restorations continue to be monuments to our volunteers, and we will continue to rely on volunteers for the rejuvenation of the cemeteries falling under our jurisdiction.

Restoring and maintaining cemeteries requires a financial commitment, and our county government cannot afford this burden.  We are asking for your help in this most worthy cause.  100% of the money donated to the Commission will go toward cemeteries.  Our commission members are not compensated.

If you choose to make a donation, please download and fill out the donation form below and mail it to the Henry County Cemetery Commission at the address on the form.  The donation is tax-deductible, and you will receive an acknowledgment for your donation.

We welcome you to attend a Cemetery Commission meeting.  We meet the fourth Thursday of each month (except November and December) in Meeting Room     on the lower floor of the New Castle--Henry County Public Library at 6:00 p.m.

Thank you,

Henry County, Indiana Cemetery Commission
